Downtown Art District is pleased to bring First Fridays back to downtown Asheville this Summer.

Explore Downtown Asheville’s vibrant art scene with First Fridays returning from 5 PM - 8 PM. A variety of open galleries & studios,  plus light refreshments at various galleries.

Join us each month April through December for First Friday Art Walks.  First Fridays are a great way to experience the art scene in downtown Asheville.  Stop by one of Downtown Asheville Arts District's participating organizations and enjoy gallery openings, music, demos, performances and more! Art Walks are free, kid friendly, and open to the public.

Join in for some added fun with the newly introduced First Friday Passport Card and Giveaway!

 

Get ready for an adventure on First Friday! Grab your Passport Card at any participating DAD location and embark on a fun-filled journey through downtown's creative spaces. Collect 5 stamps along the way for a chance to win an exciting giveaway featuring gift cards to some of your favorite local businesses. Explore a fantastic array of arts businesses, each one buzzing with something special. 

 

Whether it’s a captivating new exhibition, local music, hands-on workshops, live demos, or a wine tasting, there’s always something fun waiting at each location. Don’t miss the chance to visit your old favorites and discover new treasures! Join us and make this First Friday unforgettable!
